Jerusalem Virtual Tours - Tmol Shilshom bookstore, cafe and restaurant
- December 2007
Tmol-Shilshom, bookstore-cafe restaurant in Nahalat Shiva, opened in 1994. Named after Nobel laureate S.Y. Agnon’s novel, Tmol-Shilshom is located in a 130 year-old building. Originally, the space was used as a dwelling, but in the 1970s, as the entire neighborhood gradually turned into a commercial center, this building, too, hosted small businesses and tradespeople.
is open from 9 a.m. till 1 a.m. (closed on Shabbat).
The Hebrew expression “Tmol-Shilshom” is translated as “Those Were the Days.”
